Gary P. Foster, Master of Photography

Gary began his career in Professional Photography in 1971. As a self taught full time photographer he opened a studio on Brooklynside Road in Port Allegany in 1974. In 1978 a new home was built on Route 155 North of Port Allegany, to which a new studio was added in 1982. With Gary’s love for photography and nature, he was the first in a far reaching area to bring professional portrait photography outdoors. Having studied with many nationally and internationally acclaimed Masters, Gary continues to perfect his craft.

Gary’s photography has earned many top Regional, State and National awards. In 1996 he was awarded the Master of Photography Degree from Professional Photographers of America, the world’s largest organization of professional photographers. Although much of his studio work has evolved into a fashion style of photography, Gary is best known for his unique compositions depicting his clients relaxed and natural in outdoor environments. His goal is to capture the unique personality of each person in an artistic and decorous manner.

With digital photography opening up many new creative possibilities, Gary’s passion for photography is stronger than ever.
